Mike Willey
Mike has been in the stone and kitchen business for 18 years. He left school at 16 with some qualifications and started working in a factory. It was this factory that honed his skills he still values today. It started with menial tasks, simple ones which included sweeping and cleaning toilets. As the years progressed he moved on to more challenging tasks. This was without the benefit of specialist cutting machinery like the CNC machines we have today, it was all by hand; the hard way. This gave him the skills and confidence to travel all around the UK working for different companies and in different positions. From London to Cornwall.
After a year off through serious illness, Mike ended up working on a building site laboring. Mike knew he wanted to get back in to what he knew best. He ended up applying for a laborers job at one of the largest kitchen component and work surfaces companies in the UK. Over the next 10 years he worked his way up through the ranks to Template and Installation Manager. Managing over 4000 jobs a year and a team of more than 30 guys and girls.
All of this experience working in factories, templating, installations, managing teams, customer service and being a husband and father has given Mike the knowledge and drive to give you the product and service you want and deserve.
